District administrators use the Renaissance Next setting in Product Administration to determine when teachers will see Renaissance Next as their Home page. 

Renaissance Next helps teachers quickly see their students' recent work and to see which students need a helping hand, are working at an appropriate level, or are ready for more. It also helps you find practice activities and lessons that you can assign to students, either to reinforce what you are teaching next or to help students work on areas where they need more help. Renaissance Next will be released to all schools July 1, 2024. At that point, by default, teachers who meet these criteria will go to Renaissance Next instead of the previous Home page when they log in:

• Two or more of these products are assigned to the teacher's classes: Star, Freckle, Accelerated Reader, myON, and Lalilo. Any of the following products count as Star, but note that no matter how many Star products you have, you still need at least one other product to see Renaissance Next: Star Reading, Star Math, Star Early Literacy, Star Reading Spanish, Star Math Spanish, Star CBM, or Star CBM Lectura.
• The teacher has a verified email address entered.
• The teacher's classes were created in or imported into Renaissance, not shared from myON or Freckle.

Teachers who don't meet those criteria will continue to see the previous Home page.

If you prefer that Renaissance Next be introduced to your teachers at a later date, you can use the Renaissance Next setting to choose a different date between July 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025.

How Do I Get to the Renaissance Next Setting?

1. On the Home page, select your initials in the upper-right corner. In the drop-down list, select Manage Apps & Users.
   
2. Select Product Administration.
3. Select Renaissance Next under Rollout Pacing.
   
   

How to Change the Setting

1. Select the date field on the Renaissance Next setting page.
   
2. In the calendar that opens, select the new date when teachers who meet the criteria will see Renaissance Next instead of the previous Home page. Use the arrows at the top of the calendar to navigate to the month, then select the day. The date must be between July 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025.
   
3. Select Save Changes. (The Undo Changes button lets you undo any changes you have made.) When you're done, select < Back at the top of the page to go back to the Product Administration page.
